Spicy Petai Prawn



Couldn't remember when was my first taste if this spicy petai curry prawn. It has pass on since my grandmother passed away long ago . Until today this dish is still our favourite all time , we love it super spicy , you may vary the amount of chilli to your liking .


 
 
Recipe:
 
Shallot                      280g
Red Onion                 1 pc
Lemongrass               2 pc
Galangal                    5g
Dried Chili                57g
Tamarind                   1 Tbs
Water                         1 cup
Oil                              2 Tbs
Salt                             1 Tspn
Sugar                          1Tbs
 
 
Direction:
  1.  Peel the prawn and set aside to be used.
  2. Cut the red onion into big chuck set aside to be used.  
  3.  Dilute the water with the tamarind and mix some of the water with dried chilli for blending to make the chilli paste.
  4. Blend the shallot and the galangal until smooth.
  5. Heat oil and sauté the chili paste ,lemongrass and  the shallot mixture until fragrant then add in sugar and salt.
  6.  Add in the rest of the tamarind mixture stir too combined.
  7. Add in the petai and cook 5min then add in the prawn and the red onion cook further until its done. 
Wala the Spicy Petai Prawn is done !!! Simple right
  You may enjoy with white rice or coconut rice . For the leftover you may add into your curry instant noodle for special taste.! yum

Journey Begin

Woohoo I am finally posting my first blog here. Is not easy to start blogging especially I have nothing familiar with the whole system on get into blog.Although researching the blogging 101 or How To Start Blogging seem still confusing me with many web hosting existing. Ahhhhh I couldn't wait too long anymore, think just start from here and decide later . What's make the blogs looks appealing ? Of course is the photograph play a big role ! I'm not a good photography at all am totally not the one can get a good shot in anywhere anytime. Luckily we have many apps and software do help a lot to make it looks better. Lightroom are highly recommended to all beginner its easy to apply and you can get a free tutorial on their website. So lets talk about my blog , this is the blog mainly about cooking, baking and myself.
